Can’t find a way to get to your appointment? The Oregon Health Plan can provide you with a ride to and from your medical appointments!
How much does it cost? If you are on the Oregon Health Plan’s “Plus Plan”, this is a covered benefit and will cost you nothing. You may bring a helper along with you at no cost, if you need them to help you with the medical appointment. In certain cases FamilyCare can help “Standard Plan” members with transportation. Contact FamilyCare Customer Service for assistance.
Where will they take me? You can get rides to and from: doctor and dental appointments and mental health appointments. Your ride can also take you to the pharmacy so you can pick up your medication.
How do I arrange for a ride? Call the number (listed below) for the area you live in. Call as soon as you know that you need a ride to your medical appointment, or at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Who can use this service? This benefit is for people on the OHP “Plus Plan” who live in the Tri-County area, Clatsop County, Josephine/Jackson County and Umatilla/Morrow County. You must have no other way to get to your appointments.
